Pretty simple im trying to read something other than fantasy so im dipping my toes into some classics as well as just literary fiction
Would like if there is anything then feels similar to a Tarantino film. i just read “Life for sale” by Yukio Mishima and that was….. close ish? But overall not super enjoyable for me personally. If you can thank of anything that fits the bill I’d appreciate it

I’m just starting Essex dogs so i can’t say for sure but might fit the bill
Tarantino took inspiration from the writing of Elmore Leonard. He has a bunch of short, very readable crime novels with outstanding dialogue.
Stephen King’s *The Drawing of the Three*, the second book in The Dark Tower series. The whole series is fire but that second book is the most Tarantino-esque. The first book, *The Gunslinger*, is very different from the rest of the series as it was written several years earlier than the second book as 5 separate magazine installments but it’s still a great read.
Check out Elmore Leonard or James Ellroy
