I used to read lot of novels and nonfiction work until the end of high school. Then I didn’t have time anymore due to college and other life stuff. Now im studying in grad school and have to read a lot of scientific literature including journal articles, research papers, dissertations etc… Do these count as reading or is reading scientific literature different from what most people consider “reading”? I ask because I was part of a conversation between people and reading came up. My friend said that he still reads but it’s mostly research papers now and the other guy said, “But that’s not actually reading for normal people.”
