I’ve been kind of stuck on what to read to be completely honest. I’m waiting for book 4 of S. J. Maas’s throne of glass series to come in the mail and it has consumed most of my time. I’ve been thinking to read ACOTAR afterward, but I wanted to take a break on her expansive universe for a bit.

I’ve been looking through GoodReads reviews on the Poppy War trilogy and a lot of people like it. People say it’s a masterpiece, but most aren’t mentally strong enough to read it cuz it has such heavy themes with war and such. However, I’m willing to challenge myself.

For people who have read it, please give me your suggestions!

I find ‘A Farewell to Arms’ by Ernest Hemingway to be a captivating and sobering read, with its portrayal of a romance during World War I overshadowed by the chaos of war. Hemingway’s sparse yet powerful prose captures the disillusionment of the ‘Lost Generation.’
