I just finished my second read of I’ll give you the sun by Jandy Nelson and I loved it now I want to read something like that book. I’m looking for something with well built characters, minor conflicts, a nice setting (maybe with a beach location) and well written relationships between the characters not necessarily romatical relationships.
I liked the way Jandy wrote descriptions of emotions and what the characters were imagining in a very artsy/lyrical way, so that would be a bonus point.
