I started reading Harry Potter after going to universal studios. I think this book had a lot of weird plotholes (How did dumbledore not notice someone impersonating Moody? Why didn’t Crouch just turn one of Harry’s belongings into a portkey instead of turning it into a whole ordeal?)
And I dislike the series’ pattern of cramming all the action and explanation into the very end; the middle is so boring! 😭😭 dont even get me started on the slavery thing
But when I went to rate the book, i noticed it had overwhelming positive reviews on goodreads. maybe nostalgia has altered everyone’s perceptions on harry potter ?
