I’m looking for a book or books to get for my mum who enjoys reading but hasn’t had the best luck with the books she’s read recently. She just didn’t vibe with them.
She likes crime/mystery maybe a thriller, nothing supernatural or fantasy tho. Shes read several Agatha Christie books which she liked.
She’s currently reading a crime book by a Polish author Wojciech Chmielarz and not enjoying it, I asked about the things she doesn’t like about it and she said there’s too much description of the settings and people and the crime doesn’t actually happen until about 65% into the book.
Personally although I enjoy mystery/crime books recently I’ve been reading more romance or fantasy which I know she wouldn’t enjoy so I haven’t been able to make any suggestions. If anyone has suggestions for books in Polish that would be great too!
