I was a real bookworm as a kid, teenager and young adult, but for the last 10 years reading hasn’t been on my to do-list almost at all. I used to love Nancy Drew as a kid and all sorts of murder mysteries later on, but now when I on a daily bases work with heavy texts about crime and law I could not be less interested in my spare time. I’ve read a few books here and there in the last couple of years, but I’m at a loss. I’m not that interested in fantasy or scifi, they seem to confuse me beyond recovery and I end up not finishing them. I’ve enjoyed a few books by Nina George like The Little Breton Bistro and The Little French Village of Book Lovers, Limitless mind by Jo Boeler, a book about a famous brain surgeon and another about a coroner. Today I finished a book about the human memory, specifically within the justice system (I do bend my own principles sometimes appaerently). I’m a bit all over the place and my commitment issues with series and films are starting to haunt me when it comes to reading as well. Any suggestions to this lost and rambling wannabe reader?
