There are stories where AI rebels against its creators, where it tries to destroy us all, where it takes over the world, where it becomes a benevolent ruler or a god-like figure to us, but are there any books where the AI just… couldn’t be bothered with us? Stories where we create AI and doesn’t want to fight us, or save us, or rule us, and just doesn’t give a damn about us? Where it’s neither benevolent nor malevolent towards us?
