Hi group, I’m trying to find a book to read to help me try to get back into reading physical books. I listen to a ton of audiobooks but all on the longer length of things, and I’ve tried reading several books but think I’m going for books that are too large, or just don’t captivate me enough. For ideas, I’ve listened to all of Christopher Paolini, most of Brandon Sanderson, all of Sarah j Maas, tons of others. Currently listening to he who fights with monsters
I enjoy fantasy geared more for adults, I don’t mind grim or anything like that, there’s a series called the chronicles of the unhewn throne by Brian Stavely and I love them. I also really enjoyed the suspense and thrill of IT by Stephen king, except for the ending when they are kids getting out of the sewer.
I used to read all of the time and then I began to get into social media and started spending more time on Facebook or tiktok to the point my ability to focus on one thing for extended amounts of time is rather limited I feel. This the desire for a shorter but still really good book.
I would love any recommendations from y’all and am willing to even traverse outside of my normal reading scope for one you really suggest. Thanks guys I appreciate you all!!
