I need something new and engaging for boring chores.. preferably with a good audiobook narrator.

Some books I’ve loved in the past:
    The night circus,
    Throne of glass series,
    Court of thorns and roses,
Name of the wind (still mad at you Patrick!),
    Clockwork prince,
    Strange the dreamer,
    Six of crows,
    Scythe,
    Etc.

    1. The Crescent City series by Sarah J Mass are also narrated by Elizabeth Evans who did the Throne of Glass series and she is fantastic if you haven’t already read them.

The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern audiobook is great, works really nicely with multiple narrators and I personally enjoyed it more than The Night Circus.

Staying in the fantasy genre, Divine Rivals by Rebecca Ross, Belladonna by Adalyn Grace, A Study in Drowning by Ava Reid and The Book Eaters by Sunyi Dean have all been winners for me this year but I can’t comment on the audiobooks.

Gilded by Marissa Meyer and This Woven Kingdom by Tahereh Mafi were both surprise wins for me. I don’t remember much about how good the narration was but I think if it was bad it would have stood out in my mind.

Not a fantasy but I really enjoyed the audiobook for A Good Girls Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson if you’re into mysteries.
