An incredibly entertaining, compelling read if you can get on its specific wavelength. Sloss covers a ton of topics, ranging from disability and grief to sex and relationships, not to mention some general philosophy and life in scotland along with his work as a stand-up comedian, all subjects that are filtered through his particular vein of dark, often brutal humor, though there is unmistakably heart and passion in much of what he says. I found that it made me laugh, and made me contemplate, two things that I absolutely love to discover in a book. I’d certainly recommend it if that sounds intriguing to you.
