I had the opposite reaction-I couldn’t WAIT for the final book to be released and when it seemed to take forever, I got really nervous that Ms Atwood would keel over before it was ready for publication. That said, after I finished the third, I prolonged my joy by starting at the beginning and reading the whole trilogy again.

Is a book I never started ok? I never started Curtain by Agatha Christie because I can’t bear to see the death of the character.

I don’t do it with books but I hardly ever finished video games for this reason.

Chronicles of St Mary’s. There’s a rumor that the last one – #15 – is the last one. Breaks my heart

I did that with MadAddam as well! Took FOREVER to finish the last book! Finally did. Now I’ve read the whole trilogy three times! I just love to reread.

True Grit. The Outsiders. Loved these books as a kid, and still do to this day.
It’s not that long and I could have torn straight through, but I forced myself to put it down a couple of nights to extend the pleasure of reading such a gorgeous book.
