I read Of Mice and Men back in high school as a freshman student and I gotta say that it pretty much intrigued me where I started watching some of the movie clips and watching theatrical interpretations of the book at home. The only thing I want to point out is that unlike George, Lennie, and maybe Candy, the other characters don’t stand out very much as we don’t know they’re even about and don’t have much to do with the main duo.
They don’t have a lot of depth to them as they only made room for the two migrant workers since it’s only about them. I just thought that if any of them had a big role in the story, then I would’ve liked it more and it probably would’ve had a happy ending. How about you? What do you think?
