Sorry if the is low quality discussion for this sub but I didn’t know where else to post this!
I just finished TSOA and I am dying to see an on screen adaptation now. It was so visual in my mind. I keep imagining young Brad Pitt (circa ‘Troy’) as Achilles and Timothée Chalamet as Patroclus. That’s just me. What are your thoughts on dream casting for a movie or tv series adaptation if that ever happens? I saw on her website the author said TSOA was optioned in 2015, but no updates so far to my knowledge.
To try to extend this to deeper discussion too, what are the key themes in the book you think would translate well and/or need to be in an on screen adaptation?
