I’ve been meaning to get into reading, but with the amount of books to choose from it’s pretty intimidating honestly. Since all my favorite things are from the 2000’s, and I’m pretty much addicted to anything with 2000’s/Y2K vibes, I feel like starting off with something like that.
The book doesn’t necessarily have to be from those eras specifically, if it just feels like something that would have came out during that time that’s more than enough for me. Bonus points if it also gives off a rainy/autumn-y vibe too.

A go to series I have when I can’t find something good is Magic 2.0 (starting with Off To Be The Wizard). Although it is mostly in the fantasy genre, it is packed with references and clearly comes from the early 2000’s.
