i impulsively started reading this two nights ago when i couldn’t fall asleep. i thought it would for sure bore me to tears and make me fall asleep, but it ended up fully capturing my attention 😂
i’m currently on page 203 (book 2). while i absolutely loved part 1, i’m starting to feel overwhelmed with all the characters (the number of them) and their nicknames. does anyone have any tips on how to keep track of everyone? 😭😭 i’m truly lost, especially during book 2 with all the generals and soldiers.
also, this is NOT my first russian classic or classic in general. i’ve read “the master and margarita” & “crime and punishment”, and didn’t have trouble remembering different names.
