    Hiya,

I never really owned any books growing up. I did read some books in school growing up. Some books i loved so much, i read them several times. Matilda was one of them. Whenever i had a book report i’d also finish a complete book the same day i got it from the library. Due to financial limitations i never really got further into it though.

Now, years later, i live on my own and make my own money. In 2023 i purchased a ton of books. I finished the Harry Potter series, Hunger games, Percy Jackson, Narnia and i am also working on the Mistborn trilogy right now. Absolutely loved book 1!

I’ve also tried some other stuff. For example, Game of Thrones. However, despite it being really good, i abandoned it pretty quick because i doubt it will ever be finished. And it’d be a shame to finish 5 books and not have the ending.

The problem is that the only book i read where i haven’t seen a show/ movie of before was the Mistborn. I really really enjoyed that. It really put my mind to work. Even right now, months after i read it, i can still visually see the locations my mind made up. With all the other books i mostly just visualize what i have already seen in movies. It’s nice reading about new stuff or added details but it’s so much better reading something new.

What would you guys suggest for me to read this year? I really enjoy fantasy and a cool new world to explore.

Really looking forward to your suggestions! Also i apologize for any spelling mistakes. English is not my first language but i am trying to get better by reading all my books in English 🙂
