I am currently halfway through “The wheel of time” and have recently finished the StarWars prequels.
I am looking for other books whose main character give the same vibes as Rand or Anakin, the terror I feel watching a beloved character slowly descend, being aware what is happening but not able to stop it, the drama, the big feelings.
I ussually prefer a medieval-esque setting (think Wheel of time or A Song of ice and fire), but that is not a must have.
I like my books longer books/ series with at least 600 pages or more to them . (E.g. 3 books with 200pages each or 1 book with 650pages)
If there is a romance, then only AS a subplot
