Need recommendations for horror/thriller

Hey guys, I’m in my late thirties and I wanted to get into reading again. I haven’t read since my teen years and I used to love reading Stephen king and Dean Koontz, but haven’t read in so long(adhd is a bitch). I am looking for recommendations for your favorite horror books. I would love to read some modern horror. Would love to find some well paced reads that you just can’t put down. I’m also down for some truly terrifying horror. I love all horror, so I’m down for anything. Thank you ❤️

I also ordered a couple of books: Last Days by Adam Nevill and The last time I lied by Riley Sager. I bought these based on reviews, any thoughts about these?
