Hi all! I’m writing a book about a half Chinese, half Caucasian, first-generation American young woman. I’d love to find more books with a similar main character in terms of heritage. My story is modern but my character is grappling with her ancestry, so any time period in the last few hundred years is awesome. I’m currently reading “Shanghai Girls” by See and have a few other books on my shelf like “Crazy Rich Asians” by Kwan and “River Town” by Hessler that I plan to eventually get to. I love all things Chinese language and history and culture, so any good book (non-fiction, thriller, romance) goes. (:
(Big fan of Chinese TV shows and movies too if you happen to have any good recommendations on those lol)
