Hi, I was wondering if anyone had suggestions for fantasy novels with little to no romance? I mainly enjoy dark or epic fantasy, especially if it includes adventure and good world-building.
Over the last month, I’ve gotten back into reading for the first since high school and have been using Goodreads to look up novels that catch my eye/are popular. I’m really not into romance (although I can tolerate it in the background), and feel like every book I picked up in the fantasy genre included love triangles. Some novels I really enjoyed (Daughter of the Moon Goddess, Infernal Devices trilogy), and others are eh (left me rolling my eyes and brought me out of immersion- ACOTAR, House of Salt and Sorrows).
I am currently 84% through the audiobook of Stephen King’s Fairy Tale, and I am loving it! No romance or relationship drama, just the protagonist focusing on the task he sets out to achieve. Hoping to find other gems!
