Poetry readers, I need your help. I only developed an appreciation for poetry in the last year or so, but I’m stuck with where to go next. I also struggle to articulate exactly what I like, but here are some thoughts:
-Collections I really enjoyed: Incarnadine by Mary Szybist; Digest by Gregory Pardlo; Ordinary Beast by Nicole Sealey
-I did NOT particularly enjoy Like by AE Stallings
-I’d prefer recent-ish collections (past 5-10 years) and single-author collections (as opposed to anthologies)
