Looking for some more poems like Alfred Tennysons’ Ulysses , charge of the light brigade, the eagle, all things must die, and nothing will die.
From Byron I love darkness, the destruction of Sennacherib and Manfred.
I know of the other romantics (Shelley, Wordsworth, Coleridge, Keats) and don’t enjoy them as much as Lord Byron.
I love both the epic spirit they invoke and the tragic aspects, and language and metaphors used.
Looking for more like these thanks.
