Essentially, this child is kidnapped by this group of night/assassins? He is trying to become a master of basically a Bajillion skills in a fortress to become some kind of assassin for the Kingdom. So he is trained by these two guys and many guards. So he becomes a master of sword fighting, locksmithing, and a Bajillion other things, but being stuck in a fortress for 17 years of your life with zero time spent outside doesn’t encourage social skills, so he doesn’t know what friends, family, love, or anything like that is. I don’t remember how but all the guards and his two trainers are killed, in his dying breath the trainers tell him to swear an oath to protect the king and the kingdom and all that good stuff, but the trainer is kind of delirious and says something about protecting family and honouring friends. So he takes this to heart and decides to leave the fortress because it is destroyed, before leaving he finds this pair of very old swords that are supposed to be the best quality that money can buy in addition they were made by a legendary swordSmith, and then leaves. Shenanigans and Sue with him not knowing anything about the outside world and socializing and some stuff happens. That’s basically everything that I remember.
