I never buy books because I’m always scared I won’t like them, so I just take them out on my library app and read them on my iPad for free which is awesome. I just recently started reading Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin, and I’m currently 24% through the book and so tempted to just pause reading and buy it physically. I’ve never wanted to annotate in a book so badly. I love the way it’s written, the words she uses, I want to highlight and create marginalia and probably read it again one day, or maybe give it to someone else to read.
So I guess my point is, do you guys usually just risk it and buy physical books? or are there certain books you chose to buy after you already read them because you knew you wanted to reread them? (and what were they)
