I’m looking for a list of “must read” classics with some kind of sorting

I’m trying to read classics that are heavily influential and “important” reads. The issue I’ve run into is that I often find long lists of books or a specific person’s favorite classics.

I’m hoping to find a list of influential and important works that’s broken into some kind of category, maybe by decade or something similar.
