My mom, sister, grandma and I like to read a few books in the winter. Last year we gave each other our favorite books (which were: Good Omens, We Were Liars, The Scent of Rain and Lightning). This year we are bringing books that we have not read yet but want to read with the group.
I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction of a book that is catered to adults but not heavy on romance or things you would be uncomfortable discussing with your mom and grandma.
For reference the book I brought last year was Good Omens (but that was because they wouldn’t let me bring The Hobbit or The Bedlam Stacks).
