As much as I liked Fourth Wing (though I haven’t read Iron Flame yet), there was literally no dragon riding in it, which was disappointing. Half of the book could have been skipped or made into a prequel.
I’m already aware of the Riders of Pern series, Temeraire, and the Priory of the Orange Tree (I tried getting into both but couldn’t) and I have Eragon. Is there anything else?
(And no, I am not looking for romance books with a different type of “dragon riding”…)
