As the title says, I’m looking for any books that have gay/queer characters (bonus points if they’re the protagonist!) and the story doesn’t revolve around their identity. Like, for example, the super awesome alien-fighting vampire happens to be gay and has a partner but it’s not turned into a melodramatic tale about forbidden love (those are cool too, but I’m in desperate need of something different). I really just want to find representation that feels more natural and casual. Thank you in advance 🙂
