As above. In my 20’s, sick of uni life and working 24/7 and all. Im not a fan of “distractions” like games, entertainment media anymore, my life’s been to oversaturated with it. But i felt reading might be good in my freetime. Less “scientific” reading tho cause thats my whole uni degree and career, kinda wanna escape it and dont want anything “biological/ nursing/medical”.
Last series i think i read was the percy jackson/ heroes of olympus series. Or artemis fowl? Idk.
Anyways im torn between either a fictional fantasy story with a more mature perspective or maybe some light philosopy. Yes its a broad stretch.
Not much a fan of classic works/ classical old english something modern would be good. Also kinda not a big fan of biographies either cause they make me feel useless af.
Any recommendations?
