I’ll go first, mine was Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman.
The premise is simple, underneath and in the cracks of modern day London is a fae-like shadowy reflection of London full of forgotten things. Chaos ensues!
I’ve never done much urban fantasy, but I couldn’t put this down. Sadly I’ve read all the Gaiman now, so 2024 is about hunting down some new authors!
