We all here love to read books. Or at the very least, love to buy and then smell them. But then, there are some really annoying books that we want to hate, but somehow, those little monsters creep up on us and become what we call “our guilty pleasures.” As if, book worms feel any guilt for liking books at all! Anyways, truths aside, what books did you start hating but then started loving them?
Was it any enemy to lovers book that you started hating but then ended up loving? Was it a horror that scared you to liking it? What was it?
For me, it was The Wimpy Kid, as a twelve year old(I am 16 btw). Everybody was reading it. Me being edgy hated it until my bestie slapped me with the book, which prompted me to read it. And boy do I thank him for that! I loved the book so much I still read it sometimes. It was called The Diary Of The Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules or something like that. Anyways, I loved that book. So, what about you all? What books did you really want to hate, but ended up loving them?
