Historical retellings/historical fiction is my favorite genre. I loveeeee it, I don’t know if any of you read ‘The Royal Diaries’ collection when you were younger but this was my awakening into my love of history. Yes, I love history and hearing all of the accurate facts but if I’m reading for entertainment I want some fiction. I love when books take figures throughout history and make up a not entirely accurate story. My special interest is literally any Monarch or Dynasty doesn’t matter where they’re located or time period. Does anybody have any recommendations or if anyone read that series when they were younger, do you know if there’s an adult version? 🫣
