I’m trying to set up a reading list for next year and I’ve come to realize that I tend to like character-driven narratives rather than plot-driven ones. There are some books where I just feel like all the characters just feel SO real and believable. Like they’re just so fleshed out that I feel like they could be real people. Any of you have any books that made you feel like that? Any genre. Thank you!
**Books that I’ve read that made me feel this way are:**
* Lonesome Dove by Larry McMurtry
* Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon
* All of John Steinbeck’s novels
* To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
**Books that are already on my list:**
* The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas
* 11/22/63 by Stephen King
* Demon Copperhead by Barbara Kingsolver
