I finished it today, it was such an easy read and raw. I didn’t know much about the Britney situation at all and I could never understand after seeing the documentaries about her – why she couldn’t just come out and give her story and what happened.
I feel like this book explained her situation so well and clearly. I now know that she couldn’t speak out because she was locked up in institutions against her will and her phone was taken from her and controlled. Her own family didn’t help her.
She just wanted to see her kids so she played to her parents rules.
I feel so bad for her and for so long I was like “ah all this free Britney stuff is a bit over the top” but her fans were right. A touching book. I cried many times.
