My absolute darling by Gabriel tallent

      Deerskin by robin McKinley

    2. Deerskin by Robin McKinley – really powerful, really sensitive handling of a difficult topic. Something about this story is very healing.

    3. Helen Zahavi – Dirty weekend. Woman gets wonderful, biblical revenge on the vile men who hurt her and turned her into a serial killer

Child of God by Cormac McCarthy is about a necrophiliac if you want to get salty

    5. Man i am tired of commenting this but you guys should check light novels or wuxia novels there is plethora of novels with harems and rape something like mind control rape or anything you can think of just search wuxia novels or light novel with harem tag i am not going to recommend something because i find these kinds of stories extremely gross but i have dropped like 200-300 books because how common something you are looking for occurs in these books

    6. Deerskin by Robin McKinley is lyrical secondary world fantasy with incestuous rape as the central conflict of the novel, but I’m not sure it would count as literary for you.

Who Fears Death by Nnedi Okorafor is about a child who came about as a result of rape, and features a lot of rape and other horrific misogyny throughout the book. It is sort of Sci fi fantasy, but is somewhat more literary than Deerskin.

I’ve never read it, but from what I understand The Kite Runner is largely about the trauma of child sexual abuse.

    7. Toni Morrison’s The Bluest Eye

Thomas Hardy’s Tess of the D’Urbervilles

Margaret Atwood’s The Handmaid’s Tale (which has dystopian/alt-history elements)

      Vladimir Nabokov’s Lolita

Hilary Mantel’s Beyond Black (which has horror/supernatural elements)
