I’m not a massive reader but my goal for the new year is to read more. I don’t know exactly what I want but I have a few ideas and need help finding the right book and I was hoping to find some good suggestions here! I’ve read the GoT series and I’m just about to start Priory of the Orange Tree.
I want to escape into a fantasy book but I don’t know where to start, I just have a bit of a list of what I want/ don’t want..
• Fantasy but NOT urban fantasy. I want elves/fae/mythical creatures/ magic/ enchanted forests/ witches/ wizards/ dragon, though maybe not all at once!
•Aimed at adults but no erotica/ sex
• I don’t mind war but don’t want it all about war, happy to read about a few battles and war talk occasionally
• Not all about love, love is fine but I don’t want that to be a main point of the story
• Protagonist preferably an adult
