Hi,
Looking for some non fictions books on the history of South America. Ideally something that can give an overview of the continent if possible. Though I am also interested in good country specific ones.
For reference, I have read:
The Arabs: A History by Eugene Rogan and India: A History by John Keay.
I’m looking for exactly this kind of book for South America.
It seemed like Born in Blood and Fire
by John Charles Chasteen was going to be it but I see it’s more of a textbook with questions and illustrations. It looks like the last days of the Incas is highly rated too but I’m looking for more than just Incans.
Any guidance appreciated!
