So, basically I just want to start reading fantasy again, but the thing is, the new stuff out there never seems to have a grasp on me. The only series of fantasy I’ve read over the years were:
1. Percy Jackson (and others by Rick Riordan)
2. Shadowhunters (like… 15 books)
3. Narnia
4. Harry Potter
Yeah, not a long list at all, but this is my vive for fantasy. I’ve been eyeing Shades of Magic by V. E Schawab since I really liked Villains, but every time I pick up fantasy to read I just can’t stand it.
So, based on my short history of fantasy reading, what would you recommend?
PS: I’ve tried SJM, hate it.
