2023 was by far the worst year of my life, getting severly ill and staying in a trauma ward for half of a year really has a certain effect of you, I couldn’t almost focus on reading anything nor had the mental strength to even read one chapter of any book.
Luckily somewhere around the past 2 months I found some inner power to go back to reading , and what can I say, I loved it! i’m so sucked into that, that my TBR list is so long , no way I’ll ever finish it.
I did read only 5 books this year, but it’s still better than being dead.
