I’m trying to think of a birthday gift for my grandma, who loves to read, but I’m really not sure what books she may be interested in. I know she has read the Red Rising and Mistborn series, and I’m pretty sure what she likes about both is the mystery/political intrigue. Beyond that though I’m not really sure what aspects the books share since I haven’t actually read either of them.
I’m considering the Broken Empire trilogy (which I have read and enjoyed), which on the surface level seems like a good fit, but I’m worried the character of Jorg might be a bit too much for her. Obviously though this doesn’t apply if worse stuff happens in Mistborn/Red Rising. Help a guy out please?
