A few years ago, I read a book about a boy named (I think) Red. And I think the title was “Red” but my memory might be wrong. In the book, the boy has an abusive neighbor and, during the book, the boy looks for and finds the remains of an abandoned church that belonged to another neighbor of his. This mean, abusive neighbor always claimed the land belonged to him but it really belong to the boy’s black neighbor? Can anyone help me find this book?
