I’ve tried “A Curse So Dark and Lonely” and hated Rhen.

I heard “A Court of Thorns and Roses” is similar, so already have that on my shelf and may not like the main guy either.

Sooo, any books that would make me end up liking the main guy while keeping the enemies to lovers aspect? More like “touch a hair on her and you die” type of feeling too.

    1. I loved Roses by Rose Mannering! It’s not for everyone, but it really spoke to me.

I don’t think ACOTAR can be considered a Beauty and the Beast retelling. It takes inspiration from it, obviously, but the endgame is a completely different guy, not the “beast”, so don’t worry if you don’t like him.
I guess, I can recommend Cruel Beauty by Rosamund Hodge. Considering that the Beauty actually went to the castle to kill the Beast, I think you can consider it enemies-to-lovers.

      Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte

It’s not a series or really a true Beauty and the Beast story but an excellent book.
