TLDR: Book recommendations that make you feel like you are uncovering a serious governments dirty little secrets (and your own), or just make you feel like you are on a major acid trip.
I know this is quite a weird thing I an asking, but please hear me out. I am not a big reader, but when I find a good book I OBSESS over it. I am looking for a book that has the same vibe or overall feeling you get when you play these games:
– Black ops Cold War (specifically the break on through mission and really the interrogation as a whole)
– Portal 2 (both the single and multiplayer “campaigns”)
I love playing these and seeing everything unfold, in Cold War, the interrogation missions/cutscenes, it is so trippy and really makes you doubt bell and their reality, when you disobey Adler and your whole world/memories become so contorted you can no longer separate fact from fiction, it is sooo good and I NEED that feeling in a book. Portal 2, going through these tests like everything is fine but slowly over time the testing facility/chambers start deteriorating more and you start going on more missions outside them and uncovering Apertures dark history, and yours- again, I NEED this in a book.
