What are your favorite legal thrillers? Bonus points if it’s aimed at women’s interests or has a female protagonist or is written by a woman but that’s not a requirement as I’m on a quest to binge read a whole bunch of this genre and while I particularly like the ones with female lawyers, I’m not being picky and just want good legal thriller stories. Thanks!

The Pelican Brief
While Justice Sleeps by Stacey Abrams. The MC is a woman and it was written by a woman. A very good legal thriller.
I’m currently listening to the audiobook of Gray Mountain by John Grisham. I’m ~75% through and I’m enjoying it!
Maybe this is a corny suggestion, but I loved The Good Daughter by Karin Slaughter. Thriller about two sisters, both of whom are lawyers, unpacking a traumatic case from their childhood. Definitely a content warning for SA, but a great book with lots of action and lots of heart.
