I’m eager to expand my horizons and read more content on natural phenomena and world history, preferably at least one book from every continent. The juicier the prose the better. What’s turned me off non-fiction in the past is the staunchiness of the writing; I’m looking for material that’s written in story format, but trustworthy as far as the facts are concerned.
Currently reading Magdalena by Wade Davis, just to give you an impression of the sort of thing I’m talking about.
Feel free to suggest anything that you have fallen in love with that fits the description, or even something that doesn’t but you still think is worth the read. I’m also open to reading books written originally in French, Spanish, and Chinese.
Thanks in advance for the suggestions!
