I’m looking for a book that portrays love, but not necessarily romantic love — just that love is present.

I’m looking for a book that is a bit existential and sad, but not in a negative way. I’m more looking for the type of book that reframes life and invokes that type of feeling. A book that may be a bit heavy on the heart.

After typing that, I think I’m looking for a book that gives a feeling of nostalgia to the reader. A book that could make me happy cry or sad cry, and it’s hard to know which.

Is there a book that has a feeling like hearing a mourning dove in the early morning?

Any type of book is welcome! Thank you in advance ♡
