I loved Being You by Anil Seth. I think I really liked it because I was constantly presented with something new (scientifically/philosophically). I would love to read something else (non-fiction) that does the same in any field.

PS: I tried to read Sophie’s World. While it is amazingly written, I couldn’t get through the whole book. The start was great but as the book progressed, it became more entangled with fictional parts of the characters’ lives and it unfortunately put me off.
