Like, some books can cause such complicated feelings. You were expecting it to go a certain way but then when it actually does it almost hurts. The book I just read is **so** good, and it also sucked and I’m super mad about it at the same time because *it had no right* to do this to me.
I was the one who bought it. I knew from the title what was going to happen, but was still hoping it would go differently, and then wished there was more after the last chapter. I just don’t know what to do now. I doubt the next book I read will be like this at all. That’s the thing, though, even if it’s hard, I *like* feeling these conflicting emotions from stories. I *want* to be upset when I finish reading something. I want it to get to me afterwards, you know? It’s one of the things that makes it memorable.
What are your thoughts on this? Any books come to mind?
This particular book that I just read is:>! “They Both Die At The End” by Adam Silvera.!<
