I want to get my dad a book for Christmas but not really sure where to start. He’s mid 50s, a mechanic, interested in war history, rock music, anarchism, bikes, and true crime (especially mafia stuff). When he was young he loved scary stories, was a big fan of Stephen King, and those ripleys “believe it or not” books. No fiction, fantasy, romance, or sci-fi please! He recently tried reading “no ordinary men” but couldn’t get through the gore and violence. Thank you so much!
